Aims and Objectives

The Associations Objects, taken from the Constitution document are as follows:-

1) to educate the public and secure the preservation, protection, development and improvement of features of natural history, historic and public interest in rossall beach and the surrounding area (hereinafter referred to as ‘the area of benefit’)

2) to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the area of benefit without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race, age, disability, nationality or of religious or other opinions, by associating together the said inhabitants, the local authority, voluntary and other organisations, in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities and initiate projects in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants and public at large

3) to carry out such other charitable purposes for the benefit of those living or working in the area of benefit as the trustees, in their absolute discretion, from time to time decide.

Our Aims and Objectives will evolve over time as the strength and knowledge of the association grows, however, our meetings have revealed that the majority of members want a better, safer place to live and to bring the community closer together. It was also considered very important that our A&Os should include visitors to our area as well as residents.
